News has reached us via Facebook of this event scheduled for February 2009 in Central London. Guest speakers include the usual suspects Shami Chakrabarti (director of Liberty) and Nick Clegg MP. What interests us here at Barcode Nation is the regional aspect of the day:

There will be a series of local meetings and discussion groups held across the country in the run up to the Convention as well as on the day itself. NO2ID are putting together regional meetings across the country to be held simultaneously with the Convention in London in co-operation with Amnesty UK and Unlock Democracy.
